We are a small kennel and occasionally have puppies available when we breed a litter for ourselves.
Before considering mating we ensure both Sire and Dam have had all the relevent health tests although general the English Springer Spaniel is a healthy breed. Please see the Southern English Springer Spaniel Society (www.sesss.org) for information on health issues affecting the breed.
Our puppies are born in our home where they stay with their mother for the first 4-5 weeks until they are weaned. By being in the house they become accustomed to the everyday noises of the household, hoover, TV etc. As they get older they can venture out into the garden and have visitors both adults and children. Our intention is that by the time they leave us to go to their new homes, they are used to being handled and are socialised. All puppies are Kennel Club registered and insured when they leave us.
